Rhonda Jean Barr

Rhonda Jean Barr was born August 7, 1958 in Okemah and went to be with the Lord August 13, 2009 at the age of 57.  She is survived by her husband Tommy C. Barr; son Jonathan Matthew Barr, both of Boynton; brother Dale Lee Stice and his wife Susan Lee of Bristow; sister Anita C. White and her husband Arthur B. of Okemah; nephews: Cory Dale and Jared; nieces: Caitlyn Dawn, Jennifer Renee and her husband Ben. 

Rhonda was preceded in death by her parents: Kenneth L. and Arie B. (McCombs) Stice.  She was a lifelong Okemah resident who had a true love for life.  Her hobbies included working on puzzles and word searches.  She enjoyed listening to old Country music including Elvis, and who could forget her pig collection? 

There is not a day that goes by that we don’t think about you, your beautiful smile and wonderful laugh.  Our love grows stronger each day and will continue to grow in our hearts forever and ever.  Heaven is a much brighter place and we’ll be together again someday.

Graveside service: 1PM Tuesday, August 18, at Highland Cemetery in Okemah.
