Jerry Lewis Erwin

Jerry Lewis Erwin, age 61 years, 2 months and 11 days, entered eternal life January 3, 2009 at his home in Haskell. 

He was born October 23, 1947 in Coweta to Chester Lewis and Mary Elma (Morgan) Erwin.

Jerry served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.  He married Linda (Hasley) March 4, 1968 in Lawton.  A retired laborer, Jerry enjoyed fishing, hunting rabbits and squirrels and recycling metals, but most of all his role as grandfather. 

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his sons: Jerry Lewis, Jr. and Travis Austin Erwin; grandson Justin Todd Erwin; brother-in-law Danny Frank Hasley; sisters: Margie Young, Dorothy Williams and Wanda Erwin; 6 nieces and a nephew. 

Bequests may be directed to assist with funeral expenses.  Graveside service: 2 P.M. Monday, January 12 at Ft. Gibson National Cemetery in Ft. Gibson.  Kennedy-Amis-Kennard Funeral Service of Broken Arrow, 251.5331
