Betty Louella Carter

Betty Louella Carter, age 82 years, 10 months and 3 days, entered eternal life April 10, 2009 in Mannford, OK.  She was born June 8, 1926 in Love Field, TX to Roy C. and Willow P. (Goodson) Deaton, Sr.  Betty married Otto Carter July 23, 1954 in Cleveland, OK.  

A retired telephone operator, she enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, fishing and especially her grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by great-grandson Garrett Gamallo.  Betty is survived by her loving daughter Deborah Boyd and her husband Skip of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren: Angela Alford of Wilmington, NC, April Wise of Sand Springs, OK, Shawn Graham and Amanda Campbell, both of Tulsa; and 10 great-grandchildren.  Bequests may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
